The Lone Star state is rich in history and landmarks that will leave you wondering if you should make a permanent move. Wide open plains, majestic cliffs, gorgeous waterways, and stunning architecture will add to your experience of the great state of Texas.

Is everything bigger in Texas? We shall see about that!

Large dirt roads and vast fields of bluebonnets are a start. As the second largest state, only behind Alaska in area and California in population, Texas holds a great deal of opportunity. A gorgeous state full of heritage and strength.

The Waterfront Experience

If you are looking for some Gulf Coast adventures, Corpus Christi in Southern Texas is the perfect destination for you. As a coastal city, you will find traditional water activities and water access.

Take a long walk on the Bob Hall Pier or along Whitecap Beach. Eat the local cuisine and enjoy the best that Texan coasts have to offer. Travel farther up the coast to Galveston and view the incredible architecture of Bishop’s Palace and Moody Mansion.

Take a picnic to Galveston State Park, right on the beach. Water parks and fishing piers await your patronage. Although not open to the public, you can still see the Bolivar Point Lighthouse from across the waters, tall and in working condition.

Central Texas and All Its Glory

The San Antonio Riverwalk is a common hotspot for tourism. An absolutely serene and beautiful pedestrian and boating street that is mystical in its charm. Eateries and umbrella tables line the border between walkway and river for a quaint place to grab a drink or meal.

Festivals and Mardi Gras events are held year round for the ultimate artsy adventure. San Antonio is also home to Natural Bridge Caverns, The Alamo, tea gardens, museums, and amazing architecture.

When you find yourself a little Northeast of there, the state capital Austin features beautiful waterways and parks or nature centers that surround them. Home to history in its own right, Austin contains museums and iconic architecture.

For a dip in the water, stop by the Barton Springs Pool or enjoy the sights at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. Follow the path East, and you will find some hidden treasures in Houston. This incredible skyline will hold your gaze longer than you think.

Home to the Space Center, Moody Gardens, ArtCar Museum, aquariums, Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park, and Kemah Boardwalk, Houston provides a mecca for exploration and discovery.

Moving to Northern Territory

Dallas is the next destination on our list, which is known for an abundance of historical landmarks and museums and theme parks. This city dazzles with its parks and preserves, and you will want to make sure to stop by to view the statues at Pioneer Park.

Dallas is a true gem when it comes to the culture of Texas. Featuring infamous attractions like the Dallas World Aquarium, Reunion Tower, White Rock Lake, Klyde Warren Park, and Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.

Texas Charm

Having such a large reach over American soil, Texas contains smaller towns that share a patriotic charm.

Stop through Fredericksburg for hints of German heritage and wineries. Round Top has an annual antiques fair. Luckenbach boasts wonderful music from the smallest town in Texas.

Jefferson features a romantic getaway at one of the many bed and breakfasts.

Whether it be large cities glowing with nightlife or small towns with homestyle values, Texas is an adventure all in itself. You will have to make multiple trips back just to see even a portion of the vast state.

No matter if business or pleasure, Texas has ample room to host its guests. Southern charm and grace all wrapped into a pretty and large package!
