Many of the large trailer rental companies are in many towns these days. Like U-haul, Ryder, Budget, Hertz, Penske and even Home Depot is getting in on the trailer rental business and that is great if you feel better renting a trailer from one of them, you have many reasons to go with them. However if you are the kind of person that likes to shop local and support the mom and pop shops, good for you. Your in luck, many small local rental companies would love to rent a trailer to you. Many times you get a more personal touch. Sometimes you get an extra day one way or another or get free padded blankets or just less rules and hassle. My wife and I always try to shop local when we can. Sometimes it just isn’t worth the extra it takes but sometimes it pays off.
